Torrance is home to Torrance Memorial Hospital as well as Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital. Our Home Care team is proud to work with these hospitals and is committed to serving the seniors citizens of Torrance and the surrounding communities.

As Mr. Hawkins assisted his parents in finding the right services for their needs, he noticed a growing demand for care services at home. Seeing the need for quality in-home care, Mr. Hawkins joined the Care To Stay Home Team. His years of experience and insight provide valuable guidance and support to families and clients who are navigating the Senior Care issues. In 2003, Mrs. Lopez volunteered at a local nursing home where she spent her time working with the Activities Director.     Mrs. Lopez joined the Care To Stay Home in 2011 as the Staffing and Recruitment Coordinator. She found her passion in helping pair the right staff members with the right clients. Her success in matching clients and caregivers has led her to oversee all Staffing, Care Management, Employee Management and Human Resources.

    Mrs. Lopez finds it incredibly rewarding to allow individuals to stay at home while providing quality care. She loves developing long-lasting relationships with client’s, their family’s and the Care To Stay Home staff. The most rewarding aspect of her job is Care Management, where she is able to go into the home and see Clients and Employees. These home visits enable her to personalize these relationships, and see how beneficial home care is to individuals and their families.

    When Megan’s not at work she is spending time with her husband and two kids. She enjoys church activities, bike riding, reading, knitting, organizing and spending time with her extended family.     Prior to joining Care To Stay Home, Mrs. Gonzalez worked at St. Mary Medical Center as part of the C.A.R.E. program. Mrs. Gonzalez brings years of administrative experience as well as a wealth of clinical knowledge that makes her keenly aware of both customer and employee needs. In addition to her time at St. Mary's Medical Center, Mrs. Gonzalez also spent time as a Community Service Worker in the City Prosecutor's office for the city of Long Beach. There she learned to hone her skills in gathering information and dispute resolution. In her spare time, Mrs. Gonzalez enjoys spending time with her family. When she is not with her family, or helping others, she can be found in the gym or enjoying the great outdoors. Read Less »
