Mr. Matthew Reardon is the Director of Community Relations for the Care To Stay Home division in Torrance, California. A recent transplant to Southern California, Mr. Reardon's passion for working in the healthcare industry runs deep within his family, as he became heavily involved with his father’s healthcare facility, Hoyt Nursing & Rehab, in Michigan. As a child, Matt created fond memories of working alongside his father and fell in love with geriatric care. Witnessing the dedication, hard work and resilience it took for his family to maintain their facility and high-level of patient care, Matt was ecstatic to begin his healthcare career upon receiving his BA in Healthcare Administration from Central Michigan University.
Prior to joining Care To Stay Home, Mr. Reardon was the Director of Patient Transition with Legacy Healthcare in Chicago, Illinois. Stationed at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the city, he was responsible for generating and managing leads in referral hospitals, ensuring smooth discharge processes for patients transitioning from acute care to post-acute care, developing strong relationships with referral hospital personnel while identifying new opportunities for partnerships and growth, and, the planning and execution of marketing and sales activities that generate leads and referrals from key customer accounts.
When Matt isn't working to support the many families of South Bay, you can find him at home in Newport Beach pursuing his Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration from his alma mater, spending time on the beach, cheering on University of Michigan athletics, exploring new sights with his partner, Patrick, and cherishing the title of "Fun Uncle" for his nephew, Max, and soon-to-be second nephew, Brody.
